A Space to Explore your Clinical Work
I offer a colloborative space for psychotherapists and counsellors to explore their clinical work.
My own therapy practice informs my work as supervisor and includes ongoing exploration of working with therapeutic presence and understanding embodiment through relational mindfulness and group work. I have an ongoing interest in social justice perspectives that support a ‘rewilding’ of psychotherapy and a letting go of fixed, old paradigms that may not be in service of what is needed now in meaningful therapeutic work.
I have an interest in psychodynamic and analytic theory including Object Relations Theory, Attachment Theory, understanding of transference through relational analysis and intersubjectivity and Modern Dharmic (Buddhist) perspectives to clinical work. Like some other therapists, I draw inspiration from a transpersonal perspective from the body of work of A H Almaas and Diamond Approach.
Low Cost Supervision Offered
I am completing the final stage of a supervision diploma entitled ‘Supervision with Soul’ at Re-vision (London), and am offering low-cost supervision for a few more months. This two year training has supported me in exploring imaginal perspectives to clinical work in this transition to ‘recognised supervisor’ with the UKCP for a year in guided community with other therapists in Central London, and a second year of additional reflective process and written work.
This has included an exploration of clinical work through a broader ecology of the relational field in terms of unconscious and parallel process, in considering different aspects of relational process in therapy including what happens relationally between therapist and clients in terms of the client’s world, the therapist’s relationship with them, the therapists internal process and the dynamics in the relationship between supervisor and therapist in exploring this.
The supervision I offer invites these different perspectives together with a felt sense of what may be arising in the relational field as the client material is discussed. The aim here is to support and collaborate with my supervisees in helping them to explore their work and a space that offers them renewed orientation and inspiration in their work.
All my supervision work is clinically supervised by an experienced clinical supervisor (UKCP). Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
