Offering a space for you to explore your clinical work
An essential part of my practice includes working with therapeutic presence and body awareness that helps to create safety, open-heartedness, and attunement to myself and my clients. Part of this includes having an understanding of psychodynamic and some analytic theory in terms of the ways we are shaped by early experience.
I offer a supportive space for you to explore your clinical work. Together, we can examine what is happening between you and your clients through different lenses: the client’s world, your relationship with them, your own internal process, and the dynamics in our relationship. Through drawing parallels and exploring the felt content of the work in these areas, we can identify unconscious processes arising. In this way, we can deepen into embodied and imaginal inquiry that orients towards wholeness and greater clarity in your practice.
Deepening into Embodied and Imaginal Perspectives
I am currently completing the final stage of a diploma entitled ‘Supervision with Soul’ at Re-vision (London), and as such I am offering low-cost supervision for a few more months. This two year training has supported me in exploring this transition to supervisor for a year in guided community and a second year of some reflective process and written work. As part of this I have drawn on imaginal perspectives in therapeutic work and incorporated exploration of the ‘Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision’ (Hawkins and Shohet)— that examines clinical work through a broader ecology of the relational field in terms of unconscious and parallel process.
My supervision work is also clinically supervised. Please feel free to contact me for more information.
